- Words From The Artist - Photography is a tool to educate, raise questions, bring awareness and capture moments and personalities. Photography does all of this with a beauty, decisiveness and style unique to each photographer.

For me, photography is a way of life. I welcome the unknown as I travel to new places and experience the various cultures and lifestyles of the people I meet. I thrive on the opportunity to explore these lives and share their stories through the images I make...stories that otherwise may go untold.

As a documentary photographer, I primarily develop projects that examine the human condition and reflect the struggles of man. I continue to be motivated by the diversity of the world, extraordinary people I meet and the lives they live.

My style in unobtrusive yet intimate.

I have the ability to get close to my subjects and experience private moments because of my personality and approach to image making. This is essential in creating my work. I need to be welcomed into the lives of those I'm photographing in order to make images that are accurate and true...images that capture the person and the life they live.

This approach takes patience and dedication, but to successfully document these lives, I must me accepted by the community. I must see life through the eyes of my subject and experience the world as they do...making images along the way.

These images are not staged or posed, they are moments in life.
